Certifications By Equinology®

What do the certificates mean?

There are three different types of certificates: certificate of achievement, certificate of completion, and certificate of attendance. These are often confused and it might be best if the last two certificates were instead named "verification" of completion or attendance instead of certificate. Completion and attendance certificates do not mean you are certified in any particular thing. Certificate of Achievement is your "certification" qualification meaning you have attended the required courses, done the required extra learning activities and case studies and have successfully tested for the level of qualification.

These courses are available for everyone’s continued education and are also open to those who are not attempting the certificate of achievement. Please check for any particular prerequisites for each course. Certification of one level does not necessarily have to be completed in a specific order to take courses listed under another certification level unless the course has a prerequisite. However, you cannot test for the Master Equinology® Equine Body Worker Certification level until you have tested for the Equinology® Equine Body WorkerLevel Three Certification rank. Our certification levels range from 300+hours to 2500+hours.

For those students who feel they have already met some of the requirements, testing will be arranged to challenge the individual course. There is an administrative $100 testing fee for all courses challenged which is accomplished through video and outlined format. It is not our intention that all courses be completed through Equinology ®. Our program has an outline that we feel will enable students to practice at their full potential. If you have special state requirements, please contact us so we can tailor a program for you. Check with your state and country veterinary boards for existing laws of practice. These do change.
